FavPix is designed with your privacy in mind. We built this app on a simple principle: your photos and your choices belong to you. This policy explains what data FavPix accesses, how it is used, and what we never do with it.
FavPix requests access to your Photos library in order to display your albums, load photo and video thumbnails, and build slideshows. This access is read-only — FavPix never modifies, moves, deletes, or uploads your photos or videos.
FavPix stores the following information locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
None of this data is transmitted off your device. It exists solely to remember your preferences and power the app's features.
Open Secret Labs LLC does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of the following:
FavPix has no user accounts, no server infrastructure, and no network connection of its own. The app operates entirely on your device.
FavPix does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or data brokers.
The app uses Apple's native frameworks — Photos, Vision, AVFoundation, and MapKit — which are subject to Apple's own privacy policy at apple.com/privacy.
MapKit is used solely to resolve location names in slideshow prompts (for example, finding photos near "Yosemite"). No location searches are stored or transmitted beyond the on-device request.
FavPix does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no features that collect personal data from any user, regardless of age.
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not make changes that contradict the core commitment that your data stays on your device.
